    • Intentionally overloading or disrupting our systems
    • Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
    • Reverse engineering or decompiling the service
    • Using bots or automated tools not authorized by us

    2.3 Harmful Conduct

    • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
    • Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code
    • Impersonating any person or entity
    • Providing false or misleading information
    • Engaging in any activity that could harm minors

    2.4 GitHub API Misuse

    • Using our service to bypass GitHub's rate limits
    • Monitoring private repositories without authorization
    • Violating GitHub's Terms of Service through our platform
    • Using gathered data in ways prohibited by GitHub

    3. Your Responsibilities

    As a GitWatchman user, you are responsible for:

    • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
    • Using the service only for legitimate repository monitoring
    • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
    • Respecting the intellectual property rights of repository owners
    • Promptly reporting any security vulnerabilities you discover
    • Keeping your email address current for notifications
    • Not sharing your account access with others

    4. Service Limits

    To ensure fair usage and service availability for all users, GitWatchman enforces the following limits:

    • •Public Repositories Only: Monitoring is limited to public GitHub repositories
    • •Check Frequency: Repositories are checked periodically based on system capacity
    • •Email Notifications: Sent only for new release detections

    Attempting to circumvent these limits is a violation of this policy and may result in account suspension.

    6. Enforcement

    • Legal action to recover damages

    We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including immediate termination without prior notice, for serious violations.
