Impersonating any person or entity

2.4 GitHub API Misuse

Using our service to bypass GitHub's rate limits
Monitoring private repositories without authorization
Violating GitHub's Terms of Service through our platform
Using gathered data in ways prohibited by GitHub

3. Your Responsibilities

As a GitWatchman user, you are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account credentials
Using the service only for legitimate repository monitoring
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Respecting the intellectual property rights of repository owners
Promptly reporting any security vulnerabilities you discover
Keeping your email address current for notifications
Not sharing your account access with others

4. Service Limits

To ensure fair usage and service availability for all users, GitWatchman enforces the following limits:

•Repository Limit: Maximum of 5 repositories per user account
•Public Repositories Only: Monitoring is limited to public GitHub repositories
•Check Frequency: Repositories are checked periodically based on system capacity
•Email Notifications: Sent only for new release detections

Attempting to circumvent these limits is a violation of this policy and may result in account suspension.

Legal action to recover damages

We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including immediate termination without prior notice, for serious violations.
